The Best Time: For the Tanzania Wildlife Safaris is from June to October. The wildebeest migration, or the great migration Serengeti, is from mid-July to mid-September. Dry Season: June to October

Mid-July to mid-September is ideal for viewing the wildebeest migration.

This is usually the ideal time to view wildebeest crossing the Mara River in Northern Serengeti.

They congregate around waterholes and the river. There is less foliage in Safari National Parks, and animals are easier to see.

Because there is little to no rain, the sky is clear, and most days are bright, so there are fewer mosquitoes.

Except for the Seronera region in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, the parks are not particularly congested and most tourists visit throughout the season.

When going on early game drives in open cars in June, July, and August, it's a good idea to pack warm clothing. The mornings and evenings get chilly.

Wet Season: November through May

At the southern Serengeti, calving occurs around late January to March. It is also a fantastic period to observe predatory animals in action.

The environment is lush and lovely. The low season means reduced prices and less crowding in the parks.

SERENGETI

The Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu areas includes Tanzania's Serengeti Park. Well-known and well-liked for the Great Migration. Many crocodiles, over 1.5 million wildebeest, 25,000 zebra, and other animals are present in the Serengeti. The Masai giraffe, waterbuck, impala, warthog, and hippo are visible. A particular favourite of Tanzania wildlife safaris is the Tanzania safari Serengeti. It is one of the only two places you can see the migration. June and July are excellent times to see the world-famous Great Migration from the Serengeti to Masai Mara. Serengeti is also famous for other phenomena, including sightings of the Big Five. These are the Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Elephant, and the Cape Buffalo. 

NGORONGORO

Tanzania's Crater Highlands, Ngorongoro, is roughly 180 miles from Arusha. It has an enormous intact caldera on the whole planet.

Black Rhinos, Buffalo, Hippos, Blue Wildebeest, Grant's Zebra, and Eland are usually seen in Tarangire. So also, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, and Waterbucks. There is an absence of giraffes, impalas, topis, oribis, and crocodiles. Rarely seen animals include the African leopard, Cheetah, and wild dog.

TARANGIRE

Lake Tarangire is where Tarangire Park gets its name. Thousands of animals come from the park's nearby rainy and calving zones during the dry season. It is well-known for its numerous baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Visitors may expect to see vast herds of hundreds of zebra, wildebeest, and cape buffalo during the dry season from June to November.

The park has many honey badgers, waterbucks, giraffes, dik-diks, impala, and elands. Also seen are Grant's gazelles, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and African wild dogs. It is a sanctuary for bird enthusiasts and home to more than 550 bird species.

LAKE MANYARA

Lake Manyara Park lies between the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. It is well-known for the tens of thousands of flamingos gathering to feed during the rainy season. Many Pink-backed pelicans and Yellow-billed storks often breed there.

There are Wildebeest, Zebra, Grant's and Thomson's gazelles and Impala.Cape Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Baboons, Warthogs, African Bush Elephants, Lions, Leopards, African Wild Cats, Spotted Hyenas, Black-backed Jackals, Bat-Eared Foxes, and other animals are there in great numbers. African golden cats and cheetahs are sometimes spotted.
